| The process of adoption includes filling out an adoption application and passing a reference/vet check and home visit. We do charge an adoption fee of $100 to $250 to help with the costs of food and medical care for the animals we rescue Click HERE to download a copy of our adoption application. |
| Adopting a Forever Friend All of our animals are spayed or neutered before placement in a home. We provide medical care, such as vaccinations, heartworm treatment if necessary, and heartworm preventative. We also microchip our animals before adoption. |

Cassie and, as you can see, I am the most beautiful
dog at Tails of Hope (at least I like to think so). I
was brought to TOH after wonderful people found
me wandering by Malloy Street Bridge. I am about
3 years old, crate trained & house broken. Do you
have any doggie treats? Those are my favorite!

Meet Mattie! This sweet girl had a hard life
before coming to Tails of Hope. But life is
good now!! She no longer has any
worries. Mattie is a 6 1/2 year old, very
loyal, Australian Cattle Dog. She loves to
be inside on her dog bed or on the floor
laying next to her people!! She even
rooms with 5 kitties! (And she loves it
when they share their food with her!) She
doesn't mind being an only dog, or in a
family with other dogs smaller than her.
She would love to be taken on walks, &
she loves to chase tennis balls!! Mattie
will make a wonderful addition to a very
special family. Please get in touch to come

Tzu mix with a heartwarming personality that is
irresistible to people that love to cuddle. I'm a
special needs dog because I'm blind; however, I
have no problem making my way around the house.
Even though I can't see, I have no problem finding
my food bowl, water bowl, and can even find & use
the doggie door to go out to use the bathroom!

was a beautiful purebred Siberian.
Daddy? I'm not telling!! But I have the
cutest black & white speckling on my
legs & feet. I'm being trained right
now, & I've learned to SIT for treats!
Boy do I love those treats. I get along
with every dog I meet, and it's even
better if they will play with me! I really
like to follow my people around the
house, & at naptime I curl up next to
their chair to sleep. I'm a very happy
boy, and would be even happier if I
could find my very own special home!

Hello friendly people!! Thank you for looking at me!! I am an older Catahoula gentleman at 9 yrs,
but I have more energy than you would think I'd have. I am so very well-behaved, you wouldn't
have to worry about any problems coming from me! I am completely house-broken & I most
certainly don't chew things I'm not supposed to. Plus I am so smart & trained! I know how to "sit"
and "shake" and "up". And if you will feed me some treats, I will sit-shake-up for you all day long!!
I am a bit thin right now, so those yummy treats will help to put some meat on my bones. (Good
excuse, right?! Told you I was smart!!). I do get a bit lonely all by myself, so I prefer to have a
human or another dog around to keep me company. And I like cats, too! My previous owner
turned me in to a shelter, & Tails of Hope was so very kind to get me out of there. So now I am just
looking for another home where I can be loved & petted & fed & kept warm & cozy for the
remaining years of my life. Would you please consider bringing me home with you & letting me
provide you with all my love, too?
